ICAW Follower Giveaway — Random Drawing

These rules are the contract with entrants. They must be final and posted before the first entry is accepted. Entries run Sept 1–15, 2026; the secure random drawing streams on Facebook Live on Sept 28, before the Sept 29 12:00 AM ET deadline.
1. Sponsor
Sponsored by Iredell Calls and Weather Alerts ("ICAW"), operator of the Iredell Calls and Weather Alerts Facebook page and iredellcallsandweatheralerts.com. Prizes are produced and provided by Iredell Calls and Weather Alerts. There is no outside sponsor — this promotion is conducted solely by ICAW.
Not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"), Facebook, or Instagram. You provide information to the Sponsor, not Meta. Questions: support@iredellcallsandweatheralerts.com.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the 50 US + DC, 18+ as of entry, who follow the ICAW Facebook page when entering and remain followers through winner confirmation. By entering, each person attests that they meet this requirement. Void where prohibited. The ICAW operator and immediate family/household members are not eligible. Immediate family = spouse/domestic partner, parent, child, sibling, or spouse of any of them. Household = same primary residence.
3. Promotion Period (ET — Sponsor's clock controls)
Free entry window is two weeks (midnight Sept 1 through midnight Sept 15 ET). Drawing completes within two weeks after.
4. How to enter
Free. Follow the ICAW Facebook page, then complete the entry form at iredellcallsandweatheralerts.com/contest with your name and a valid email address. One entry per person for the entire promotion period. The entry form requires an attestation that you follow the page. Email verification is also required; an entry that does not verify by the close of the entry period is ineligible.
Donations confer no entries and no advantage. Support for ICAW (donations, subscriptions) is entirely separate from this promotion and neither helps nor hurts your chances.
5. The drawing
Five (5) potential winners are selected at random from all eligible entries on September 28, 2026, conducted live on Facebook Live and recorded. If a potential winner is ineligible or does not respond in time, alternates are contacted in ranked order.
- Before the stream: total eligible count + anonymous entry IDs published (no names/emails).
- The Sponsor uses the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure random-number generator and an unbiased Fisher-Yates shuffle to create one random ordering of all eligible entries.
- The first five positions are potential winners; all remaining positions are alternates in order.
- Each potential winner's submitted name and anonymous entry ID are revealed during the Facebook Live drawing. Email addresses are never shown.
- The method, full anonymous ordered result, and Facebook Live recording remain posted.
Five prizes to five people/households (§6). Odds depend on eligible count.
6. Prizes
Five (5) prizes, each one apparel set consisting of 1 Bella+Canvas tee (your size) + 1 hat, both with the ICAW logo, ARV $40 each. Total ARV $200 (5 × $40).
- Limit one prize per person or household.
- Not transferable; no substitution/cash equivalent except Sponsor may substitute equal/greater value if unavailable.
- Winners choose tee size and color from available options.
Prize value may be taxable income. Winners responsible for taxes. Sponsor may request tax forms when required.
7. Winner notification & delivery
Potential winners' submitted names are revealed during the Facebook Live drawing, then they are notified by email and must respond within 7 days, confirm that they followed the ICAW Facebook page when entering and still follow it, confirm all other eligibility requirements, and provide a shipping address. The Sponsor may request reasonable proof of follower status. The live reveal identifies potential winners only; confirmed winner status is announced after eligibility and response. Failure to respond or verify eligibility means forfeiture to the next alternate. Prizes are delivered at no expense within 10 days of the confirmed-winner announcement.
8. Publicity and live-name consent
By entering, each entrant consents to the Sponsor displaying their submitted name and anonymous entry ID if selected as a potential winner during the Facebook Live drawing and in its recording. Email addresses are not displayed. Except where prohibited, prize acceptance also permits use of the confirmed winner's first name and city in promotional material without further compensation.
9. Privacy
Information collected for entry is used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, and notify winners. Emails are not sold or displayed. The published entry list and full ranking use anonymous IDs; only the five potential winners' submitted names are revealed during the live drawing. See full policy at /privacy.
