How the drawing works
- Freeze the list — after entries close, every eligible person is represented by one anonymous ID. Late confirmations cannot join the published pool.
- Generate a secure random order — Web Crypto obtains randomness from the operating system's cryptographically secure random-number generator.
- Shuffle without bias — rejection sampling and Fisher-Yates give every entry the same chance at every position.
- Record the result — the first five are potential winners; everyone else remains in ranked alternate order.
